Renaissance Masses, 1440-1520

Notice: Update in Progress

Starting in June 2008, all existing sound files will be recorded afresh using the sample library Symphonic Choirs, with a mixture of basses, tenors, and choirboys.

To make the recordings a little more iPod-friendly, the sound files will be recorded at a lower bit rate (128kbps rather than 192kbps, thereby reducing file size by 33%), and they will have tags identifying title, composer, and track number.

Updated recordings are marked by blue bullets, rather than the red and white bullets used in previous recordings.

In updating the website, I will be moving more or less in chronological order, starting with Masses from the 1440s, and gradually working my way towards the early sixteenth century.
